Why GLP-1s Made It Through and Most Others Haven't

Very few peptides in circulation have been through formal pharmaceutical development. GLP-1 agonists are the exception, having cleared the rigorous trial process required for regulatory approval. That distinction matters, it's the difference between a compound with real phase III data behind it and one whose use is extrapolated from far thinner evidence, sometimes nothing more than animal studies or anecdote.
